Want to maintain good relation with neighbors: Pakistan PM
Islamabad: Post the death sentence order of Kulbhushan Jadhav passed by the Pakistan Military court, the Pak Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif in a press meet said that Pakistan is willing to maintain good relation with the other countries and it is mainly looking for a good relation with the neighboring countries.
Addressing the media Shariff said, “Pakistan is a peace-loving country and has always maintained the policy of having friendly relations with other countries particularly its neighbors”. He also mentioned, “The nation has full trust in the country’s armed forces”.
However, Pakistan should introspect and check if they are really willing to maintain a good relation with India as there were multiple ceasefire violations over the border in the past two and half years even after the Indian Prime Minister has extended his hands for maintaining a friendly relationship.
Indian External Affairs Ministry is making constant attempts to save Kulbhushan Jadhav, who is and Indian national and alleged as a RAW agent by Pakistan. A year back Pakistan has arrested him and released a video in which Kulbhushan Jadhav confessed of being a RAW agent, however it was later exposed that the video was completely tampered with and not a genuine one.
The Indian ministry is alleging that the death sentence is a mere ‘Premediated Murder’.If Pakistan is really willing to maintain a friendly relation with India, it should look into this matter and try to resolve the issue of Kulbhushan Jadhav in a diplomatic manner.
