Xiaomi Pocophone F1 gets certified, reveals specifications
It looks like Xiaomi is truly preparing to launch yet another top-tier smartphone, which goes by the name of Pocophone F1.
The smartphone recently received its Bluetooth certification, which confirms the fact that it does exist, although Xiaomi can always cancel its launch if it wants to like it did with the Xiaomi Mi Max 3 Pro.
It confirms the smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor with “liquid system which helps boasts extremely fast processing power at sustain peak performance.” Furthermore, the Pocophone F1 will feature a dual rear camera (12MP+5MP) with 1.4 µm large pixels and dual pixel autofocus on the main sensor.
There’s also an impressive 20-megapixel camera in the front which supports Super Pixel technology that mixes info of four pixels into one large pixel, which can reduce noise, capture more light and enhance the overall quality of photos, especially in low-light conditions.
Xiaomi’s Pocophone F1 will include an infrared “illuminator” and an infrared camera, which will allow users to take advantage of the AI face unlock feature even in completely dark conditions, not just in bright daylight.
The listing shows that the Pocophone F1 will come in two variants, the base model will pack 6GB RAM with 64GB of internal storage, while the top-end version will come with 8GB RAM memory coupled with 128GB storage.
Popular tipster Roland Quandt leaked the price of the Xiaomi Pocophone F1 last week. He tweeted that the phone will cost EUR 420 (roughly around Rs 33,800) for the 6GB + 64GB variant and EUR 460 (roughly around Rs 37,000) for the 8GB + 128GB version.
