ASUS unveils new gaming laptop starting at Rs 63,990
Expanding its gaming laptop series in India, Taiwan-based technology giant ASUS on Wednesday launched a new gaming laptop “FX504” that is available in three different variants, starting at Rs 63,990.
The three newly unveiled laptop models in the TUF series are: FX504GD-E4021T, priced at Rs 63,990; FX504GM-E4112T, priced at Rs 84,990; and FX504GM-EN017T that comes at Rs 95,990. They are powered by GTX 1060 for an immersive and durable gaming experience.
The FX504 is powered by the latest 8th Generation Intel Core i7-8750H processor and features Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 graphics with full Microsoft DirectX 12 support. It comes in a 2.5cm chassis and weighs 2.3kg. The laptop also comes with 8GB DDR4 RAM, 1TB FireCuda SSHD and 128GB PCIE SSD.
The FX504 i7 version comes with a 15-inch FHD display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 3ms gray-to-gray (GTG) response time along with 130% sRGB colour gamut and wide-view angle. The FX507’s i5 version comes with a 15-inch FHD IPS display with 60Hz refresh rate.
The FX504 houses a desktop-style gaming keyboard that has 1.8mm of key-travel along with backlit keys with highlighted WASD keys.
The laptop comes with HyperCool technology that pairs the patented Anti-Dust Cooling (ADC) system with Fan Overboost. As per the company, the ADC system expels harmful dust particles and dirt through two dedicated tunnels to prevent build-up in the thermal fins. The Fan Overboost function provides users with three different modes. The company claims that all of this taken together prolongs the lifespan of the FX504 and provides stable cooling during gaming marathons.
