The Frontier model of Gear S3 comes with rugged outdoor look whilst the Classic variant of the smartwatch comes with more refined appearance. Nevertheless, both watches flaunt large faces and seem to attract male consumers in big scale.
Surprisingly, the Frontier model of Gear S3 comes with a cellular radio chip that allows the smartwatch to connect to high-speed 4G mobile networks which mean that there is no need to tether your watch to the smartphone in order to connect to the internet or make calls.
This is a brand new feature that is being introduced by Samsung for its smartwatches. There is no such feature used until now in any other devices. The current generation of Apple’s smart watches is Apple watch series 2.
The Samsung Gear S3 smartwatches sport an always-on display, dust and water resistance, GPS, and a built-in speaker. The watches are further capable of making payments in the countries where Samsung Pay is available. Samsung will announce the exact date of launch of its smartwatch soon.
