Nokia X5 launches in the market
It has always been a preconceived notion that Nokia phones are outdated and may not be able to match today’s smartphone market, but recently Nokia has launched its new X5 smartphone which was launched in July 2018. The phone comes with a massive 5.86-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 720 pixels by 1520 pixels.
The Nokia X5 is powered by 2GHz octa-core processor which makes it a potent processor and it comes with 3GB of RAM. The phone also accompanies 32GB of internal storage with expandable storage up to 256GB via a microSD card. So if you want to put in movies or download high graphics games, you need not worry about storage problems. The cameras as always are put in prime concern by Nokia; the Nokia X5 features a 13-megapixel back camera and an 8-megapixel front camera for selfie geeks.
The Nokia X5 runs on Android 8.1 Oreo and is powered by a 3060mAh non removable battery.
The Nokia X5 is a dual SIM (GSM and GSM) smartphone that accepts Nano-SIM and Nano-SIM. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, USB OTG, FM, 3G and 4G (with support for Band 40 used by some LTE networks in India). Sensors on the phone include Compass/ Magnetometer, Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, Ambient light sensor and Gyroscope.
Nokia once used to be one of the world’s biggest mobile phone manufacturers in its time, but it fell far behind with the advent of iPhone and Android smartphones. In 2016, the Finnish company HMD Global bought a part of Microsoft’s feature phone business and had a licensing agreement which allowed it to make smartphones under the name of Nokia brand. Now that when everyone thought that after Lumia, Nokia is now a dead company it has launched back again with its new X5.
