Jayalalithaa’s biopic on silver screen
On December 6th the whole Tamil Nadu was in a state of shock with the news about the demise of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister K.Jayalalithaa. Being an actor turned politician, people from both film fraternity and the political fraternity have Expressed their deepest condolences to her family.
K.Jayalalithaa is known as the Iron Lady of India as she has faced many ups and downs in her political career, right from entering into politics till becoming the Chief Minister and being called as Amma. The huge amount of insults and politics played around her during the demise of Tamil Nadu Ex-Chief Minister MGR and the way she has turned the odds in her favour are no less than a commercial film and finally, the legendary Tollywood director Dasari Narayana has announced that he will be making a movie on Jayalalithaa’s life history.
On 4th January 2017 he also said in an interview to a leading media house he said that the movie shall be completed within a period of just 30 days. Though Dasari Narayana has never directed a movie in the past casting Jayalalithaa, being from the same fraternity he is said to have a great idea about the life journey of Jayalalithaa right from her entry into movies, entry into politics, insults faced by her and her victories too. He said that the subject is still being prepared and there will be an official announcement once the subject is finalised.
There are wide speculations that Jayalalithaa’s role will be played by Hema Malini or Jyothika and the role of Sasikala Natarajan by Ramya Krishna.
We should just wait and watch whether the movie will be having the last 70 days of her life, during which Jayalalithaa was hospitalised in the movie and how the subject will be handled as Dasari Narayana had taken a long gap from direction after his previous debacle, Erra Bus.
