Finally Declared – Sasikala Natarajan is now AIADMK Party Chief
Tamil Nadu: After the death of the former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu J. Jayalalitha, the seat of AIADMK Party Chief remained empty. Today, the ruling party AIADMK made an official announcement that Sasikala Natarajan will become the party chief of AIADMK after Jayalalitha. All the powers and reins just handed over to the close friend of Jayalalitha – Sasikala Natarajan.
The post of General Secretary of AIADMK party hands over to Sasikala Natarajan on 2nd January 2017. Upon giving the indication, Ms. Jayalalitha giving flowers to Natarajan posters placed all over the places nearby the party office of AIADMK. Everyone started celebrating the changeover from amma to chinnamma. The Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu O Panneerselvam said few words regarding the changeover and about the relation between Jayalalitha and Shashikala.
He said that people have seen MGR (MG Ramachandran) in the late Jayalalitha. Now, everyone can see amma in Sasikala. The place of Jayalalitha will now hand over to Sasikala and she will have all the powers of taking any kind of decision regarding the party. After the completion of the meeting, the Chief Minister Panneerselvam and other party members went to the residence of Jayalalitha in Poes Garden. In that garden, Jayalalitha shared many things for many decades with Sasikala.
