The new Royal Enfield Classic 500 Pegasus version was revealed a one week back and this edition will entry to India as first war inspired motorcycle. The company will release the motorcycle on May 30th and price and other details will be announced officially on that date only. As per the close sources the price of the Royal Enfield classic 500 Pegasus Version is revealed as 2.5 lakhs in delhi (to some showroom). Bookings are going to start for the motorcycle on 30th May itself and the deliveries will begin on June 20th. Royal Enfield Classic 500 Pegasus is limited Edition nearly 1,000 motorcycles allocated for worldwide, and in that 250 motorcycles have been grant for India and 190 units for Britain.

The new Pegasus version takes its innovation from RE/WD Flying Flea 125 motorcycle that which was used by the British commandos, During World War II. The lightweight Flying Flea used to be surrounded in a cage as it was proposed to be release from aircrafts on the battlefield to help the military with on spot transportability.
