Nokia X series: Return of the Giant?
NOKIA, one brand which stood on our lips till the era of Android smartphones kicked it out of the competition. But ever since HMD Global has started making NOKIA devices, the results are showing up. Nokia 6, Nokia 7 Plus, Nokia 8, and the latest fire was put by Nokia X6 launched in China on 17th May. With decent specs and great pricing, everyone around the world wanted it.
Today, HMD Global officials teased its global launch.
HMD Global’s Chief Product Officer Juho Sarwikas tweeted and conducted a poll on if the X6 be launched worldwide? The tweet received 92% positive responses. And now it is expected to be launched worldwide. That too, too soon. Apart from this X6, HMD Global is expected to launch two more X series devices which may be X5 and X7, both of which have not been confirmed. The global launch event of X6 might see, the revamping of Nokia 2.1, Nokia 3.1 and Nokia 5.1.
Earlier, the China edition Nokia X6 version was launched at a price of 1,299 yuan (₹ 13,700) for 32GB memory version and 1,499 yuan (₹ 16,000) for the 64 GB memory version. Its specs include a 5.8 inch full HD+ IPS LCD display and follows 19:9 aspect ratio. It has a resolution of 1080×2280 with 435 PPI. The device is powered by 4GB RAM coupled with 1.8 GHz octa-core Snapdragon 636 SoC and Adreno 509 GPU. It is equipped with a dual camera setup with primary being a 16MP snapper with a 5MP sensor. On the front, X6 has another 16MP sensor with f/2.0 aperture. X6 packs a lot. If the same version is launched worldwide, the pricing should be nearly the same. This might lead to a great jump in the lower middle-class Users all over the world. The official date of the Global launch may be declared soon. Let’s see, what the X Series promises.
