Google launched Job Search in India
Google for Jobs was launched in the US last year.The tech giant Google launched the same feature which unveiled a new seardch option for jon seekers to find appropriate jobs from relevant company to India on Tuesday.
Google has partnered with Aasaanjobs, Freshersworld, Headhonchos, IBM Talent Management Solutions, LinkedIn, Quezx, QuikrJobs, Shine.Com, T-Jobs, TimesJobs and Wisdomjobs for the offering.
Rajan Anandan, Google’s Vice President India and Southeast Asia said there is 45% increase in forth quarter of calendar year 2017,it was only 50 percent through mobile phones.This feature is available in English for both android and ios can be done through mobile and desktop versions.
If you want to know how it performs, you need to pass on some queries such as “jobs near me” or ” jobs for freshers” to Google search then you will get to know about a special module where you can see relevant jobs which can be customized and save job postings.Where you can find listings based on full time or part time.You can notice when the listing from particular listing was online.
Once you searched for listings on it,you can refine the results on the basis of job profile,date posted, title, location, , or company type. You can bookmark the same and can revise whenever it required in future.Likewise you can get email notification whenever new relevant jobs are available through alerts option.
Amitabh Kant, CEO of government said “We are entering a new age of disruption, it will be an era of speed and transparency,”
and the government wants India to grow with the jobs and the aim is to create more jobs by planning Niti Aayog.
Google talks with largest online portal Naukri.com to be a partner for this initiative and they are making more efforts to get more jobs to be listed especially government jobs and specially state governments to post jobs online, added Achint Srivastava, from the Google Search Engineering team.
