After a gap of 5 years Vishwaroopam 2 has finally hit the screens today. Kamal Haasan’s Vishwaroopam 2 is a mixed bag, when you compare it with the first part. The sequel is a continuation of the plot, with a long-drawn-out explanation trying to link the two films.

The story continues from the first part as Wisam Ahmed(Kamal Haasan) successfully cheats his good friend Omar(Rahul Bose)a dreaded terrorist and helps the US army in defusing a deadly bomb in New York

Now, he is assigned another task in the UK and Wisam along with his wife Nirupama(Pooja Kumar) leaves for his mission. But to Wisam’s shock, Omar is still alive and has planned something big in India this time around. Rest of the story is as to how Wisam leads from the front and saves his country.

The film Vishwaroopam 2 is true to the first part of the movie. The film started on an interesting note but ended disappointingly. It has all the required elements that could hold the curiosity of the audiences. All the actors have put decent performances in the movie. The film has got a gripping screenplay. Kamal Hassan has written an interesting script that has the emotions in the right proportion. The scenes looked lengthy, but they are passable. Kamal Hassan has delivered yet another interesting performance in the movie. The production values are grand and lavish. Ghibran’s outstanding BGM made the movie worth a watch. On the whole, the film entertains and not to be a missed one.
