Bollywood hottie Kriti Sanon stated that she has never confronted any sexual favors in exchange for any role in a movie in spite of the fact she doesn’t have a ‘supporter’ in the film industry.
The actress was in the national capital for an occasion where she talked over her experience of being a stranger in the Hindi film biz. In addition, she also spoke about casting couch and body disgracing in a prolix way.
“I am an engineer, so it was a huge shift for me. I was a little lost. It seemed like a dream which was too big. I think that such things (casting couch) do exist, but not only in Bollywood. But in other places too. But fortunately, I have not faced the casting couch. I was signed by an agency and thankfully nothing of this sort happened to me,” the actress added.
The 27-year-old babe entered the film biz with Heropanti opposite Tiger Shroff during the year 2014. “It was my first Bollywood film so I was truly eager. Back then, I was taking baby steps. I was enthralled by everything on the sets and I begun to respect this turf and everything linked to it. Whistle Baja was my first Bollywood number, and I have always been a dancer at heart, so it was a high for me,” the cute faced actress also said.
She handled unfavorable judgment quite elegantly whether it linked to body shamming or working skills. “Don’t be frightened of failure. Failures make you sturdier. Don’t let anybody notify you that you cannot make it. When you read reviews, whether the girl has a substantial role or not, people talk about hero and villain, and not write much about the champion. So that is altering.
People believe in tales where a female is the main character. And I expect it begins to get better from here,” she also said. Kriti’s novel movie Bareilly Ki Barfi that hits theaters in August has performed well at BO and was also loved by critics. In the movie, Kriti played Bitti, an passionate admirer of Madhuri Dixit.
“I used to dance to Ankhiyaan Milau. Talking about actors, Shah Rukh Khan sir is my favourite,” she added. Kriti Sanon will next be witnessed in Raj & DK’s Farzi.
