Chiranjeevi and Pawan greet K. Vishwanath

Entertainment: A few days ago the Indian government has announced the ” Dada Saheb Phalke Award ” to one of the most respected directors in Telugu cinema i.e. K. Vishwanath. Though it’s been a little late, at last, the legendary director has been awarded the highest award for cinemas. Stars like Chiranjeevi, Pawan Kalyan and Trivikram met him at his residence and congratulated him for the great achievement.

After meeting K. Vishwanath, Chiranjeevi shared his experiences with him. He said that the relation between him and Viswanath is not that of a director and hero, but they share a cordial relationship.He also added that Viswanath receiving this award is pride to the award. Chiranjeevi expressed his grief that the government has recognized him very lately and he told that he should have been awarded long ago. After Chiranjeevi, Pawan Kalyan and Trivikram had visited his residence to greet him. Pawan Kalyan shared his experiences saying that he used to go to the movie sets along with his brother though he didn’t have any knowledge about movies. And he said Viswanath is a very great person who used to treat him like his son even before he became a hero.

Apart from Chiranjeevi and Pawan Kalya, many stars have congratulated K. Vishwanath on social media platforms like Twitter and Facebook. The Baahubali director S S Rajamouli tweeted  ” I’m extremely happy that Kala Tapaswi K Vishwanath garu has been awarded the Dada Saheb Phalke Award “. The sensational director Ram Gopal Varma tweeted in his own style saying that he watched movies made by Dada Saheb Phalke as well as the movies made by K Vishwanath and he opined that Dada Saheb Phalke should be awarded K Vishwanath award. Similarly, actors like Akkineni Nagarjuna, director Raghavendra Rao and others in Telugu Film Industry have expressed their happiness.
