Nokia X5 Expected to Launch Today an Ultra Budget Phone with Notch Diplay
Nokia X5 or Nokia 5.1 Plus in China launch is set for July 11. Leaked image renders suggest that it will have bezels thicker than Nokia X6.
The Nokia X5 is going to be launched shortly, so here is everything we know so far about the official announcement.
The details suggest that the Nokia X5 is going to be unveiled today at 5:30 PM (8 PM in China). Nokia X5 is expected to feature a 5.86-inch FHD+ screen with a notch at the top. Coming to the hardware specifications, the phone is expected to come powered by a 2GHz octa-core processor which could either be present inside the MediaTek Helio P series or Snapdragon 600 series chipset.
It will certainly not feature a Snapdragon 636, because that’s the chipset found in the Nokia X6, and the device will obviously sport something that is less powerful than the Snapdragon 636. The latest Android Oreo version is likely to come loaded by default and for battery life, a 3000mAh capacity is expected to be fueling the handset. In the imaging department, the Nokia X5 might possibly sport a dual camera setup at the back consisting of a 13MP lens accompanied by a 5MP lens.
An 8MP snapper is expected to be placed at the front for selfies. The phone might also come in the 3GB/4GB/6GB RAM and 32GB/64GB storage variants. Nokia X5 will be based on Android Oreo, and runs a pure version of Android. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth capabilities, a micro-USB port, and 4G VoLTE support. Sensors on the device include accelerometer, ambient light sensor, and proximity sensor, besides the fingerprint scanner.
The 32GB model of Nokia X5 could be priced starting at around 799 yuan, which is approximately Rs 8,200 on conversion. The 64GB storage variant could cost 999 yuan or around Rs 10,300.
