Programmes for Minorities launched in 308 districts of the Country
Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi, Union Minister of Minority Affairs, chaired meeting of Central Waqf Council in national capital. Naqvi aforesaid that a programme on war footing has been launched for a hundred per cent Geo tagging and medical aid of Waqf properties across the country to confirm these properties are often used for welfare of the society.
Union Minister whereas chairing eightieth meeting of Central Waqf Council (CWC) aforesaid that Geo Tagging and medical aid can guarantee transparency and safety of Waqf records. For the primary time since Independence, Government has determined to produce a hundred per cent funding to develop faculties, colleges, ITIs, polytechnics, hospitals, multi-purpose community hall “Sadbhav Mandap” on Waqf land underneath Pradhanmantri Gregorian calendar month Vikas Karykram (PMJVK).
Union Minister aforesaid that the Centre has determined to begin a programme on war footing to use Waqf properties across the country for academic management and employment orienting ability development of the poverty-stricken particularly economically backward ladies in those areas of the country that were empty these facilities since the Independence. The Centre has been developing faculties, colleges, ITIs, ability development centres, multi-purpose community centres “Sadbhav Mandap”, “Hunar Hub”, hospitals, business centres, common service centres etc. on massive scale on Waqf properties across the country. Union Minister aforesaid that whereas solely ninety districts of the country had been known for Minority communities’ development throughout the sooner Central Government; gift Government has dilated development programmes for Minorities in 308 districts of the country.
