Indian Railways to rent retired army personnel to shield its properties

Railways ar about to rent retired army personnel for security of its properties across the country, AN per an officer order. Earlier, the Railway Board had authorised general managers of its zones to interact certificate agencies like home guards, geographic region Industrial personnel in core areas of railway security to the extent of the vacancy within the Railway Protection Force to secure its premises.

The new order includes the subsequent information:

The order has been changed to incorporate former army men through the Sainik Kalyan Boards. The contemporary order was issued by the Railway Board on July eighteen. These men is employed by the overall managers throughout summer rush or competition seasons or whenever needed.

According to official knowledge, 76,563 C and D-level RPF and RPSF (railway protection special force) personnel ar operating with the railways. this can be fifteen p.c but the sanctioned strength.

Previously, the order authorised general managers of its zones to interact certificate agencies like home guards.
