The Lenovo owned company, Motorola has launched Moto 1s, which seems to be a slimmed down version of its successful flagship phone Moto G6. It has been priced at 1499 yuan (₹ 15,935 approx). Moto 1s has the most beautiful design in its price range and comes in two colours which are Victoria Blue and Charlotte Powder.
Moto 1s comes with Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box and it is topped with company’s ZUI 3.5 skin. Powered by Snapdragon 450 SoC clocked at 1.8GHZ and coupled with 4 GB of RAM, Moto 1s packs a 3000 mAh battery. With a storage of 64GB, moto 1s can be expanded up to 128GB through micro SD card. There is a dual camera setup at the back with a 12-megapixel autofocus sensor of f/1.8 coupled with the 5-megapixel sensor of f/2.2 aperture. On the front, moto 1s is equipped with a 5.7-inch, 18:9 aspect ratio display with 1080×2160 pixels, which means full HD+ display. The front camera is of 16-megapixel is paired with a LED flash. Moto 1s supports 4G LTE and has all basic sensors such as gyroscope, accelerometer, ambient light sensor, compass and proximity sensor. The fingerprint scanner is embedded in the front home button. The 1s is coated with a water-repellent P2i splash proof nanocoating for water resistance and also comes with Dolby Audio technology. And with all these specs it weighs only 168 grams even though it has a glass black!
The amount of features available in Moto 1s in this price range is insane for Motorola. If Lenovo owned Motorola decides to launch this smartphone at this range, it will be a huge success in India and will compete directly against Redmi Note 5 pro, Huawei Honor 9 lite, Huawei Honor 9i, Nokia 6 2018, Huawei P20 lite, Xiaomi Mi A1 etc
