Google CEO likely to start initiatives on Small & Medium Enterprises

The CEO of Google Sundar Pichai is on his trip to India. He is going for a private trip but he will still host an event in New Delhi on January 4, 2017. At the Digital Unlocked launch, he is expected to announce new initiatives for startups in India and also for small businesses. The event will have several officials from Google as well as the IT Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad.

The digital offline training will cover all tops under the Digital Unlocked program. FICCI is giving out the training. Google and the ISB, Hyderabad will certify them.  The training program also has the online training through Primer app that teaches digital skills along with quick and easy lessons.

This is not the first time that Google is launching such an event for small and medium enterprises. Last year to the search engine giant introduced a scheme to help small and medium enterprises grow digitally and make the most out of Google’s products – Google Maps & Google Search. Recently after the government backed the Digital India and Start-Up India programs Google showed a keen interest to become a key partner. Last month Google announced seven startup companies will join the third batch for Launchpad Accelerator.
